Home Integrity Testing Ltd was formed in 2005 to provide Air Tightness Testing services to the UK's building industry. The company was established to assist the industry in dealing with the increasing demand to build energy efficient homes.
Profile
All engineers have been fully trained and are competent to provide air tightness services to the industry in full compliance with the BINDT standard. Building control bodies accept certificates from BINDT registered air tightness testers as evidence that the procedure has been followed. In other words, Building Control Bodies are obliged to accept self-certification from HIT, enabling reduced administrative burdens, delays and costs.
